🤍 New to wax melts?
A wax melt is a scented piece of wax, very similar to a candle but without the wick. Wax melts are used to fill your home with a beautiful fragrance. Wax melts are becoming very popular and come in various different fragrances.
🤍 Frosting
Frosting is when a white crystalline layer forms on the surface of natural waxes such as soy. This is a natural effect of soy wax and only occurs throughout vegetable waxes. Frosting takes place when the natural wax used to make a candle tries to return to its natural state. Frosting does not affect the scent throw or performance and unfortunately frosting is almost inevitable with all soy waxes.
🤍 Are you using an Electric burner?
To use your wax melt, place a piece of your desired wax melt into the dished part of your burner. Simply turn your burner on to melt the wax , which will release a strong last lasting scent.
🤍 Are you using a Tealight burner?
To use your wax melt, place a piece of your desired wax melt into the dished part of your burner and light a 4hr tealight below , which will release a strong long lasting scent.
🤍 What happens when i can no longer smell the fragrance?
Wax melts don't disappear like candle wax does once burning so you will need to remove the wax from the burner once it has lost its fragrance. Our wax melts last 8+ hours so once it looses its scent its time to change it for a fresh wax melt. You can either choose the same fragrance or change to a new one.
Removing an old wax melt from your burner is simple. These are the 2 easiest options for removing wax from your burner:
🤍 Heat the cooled wax for around a minute and then it should simply slide straight out.
🤍Completely melt the wax and then pop in a couple of cotton pads to soak the wax straight up for removal.
